Martha Ratclilff Illustration originally started about 12 years ago when I used to design greetings cards for friends and family and things gradually developed…

After graduating from Leeds University with a BA in Art and Design in 2016 I then worked in the greetings card industry as a designer for leading greetings card companies for 4 years.

I gradually built up my freelance illustration business on the side and in July 2021 I took the jump and quit my full time job to take this business full time! I totally LOVE what I do and have not looked back!

I love illustrating all sorts - from cards to diaries, calendars to gift wrap, books to socks. You name it!

I am constantly inspired by the world around me and I am always looking for new ways to bring my illustrations to life. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my work. I hope my illustrations bring a smile to your face and inspire your own imagination.
